Established April 1996, Roche Lake Provincial Park is located on the Thompson Plateau and encompasses seven lakes that attract fly-fishing enthusiasts. Roche Lake and the surrounding lakes are consistent producers of rainbow trout in the 2-4 lb. range. There are a number of informal trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding.

LOCATION
Roche Lake Provincial Park is located 36-km southeast of Kamloops and accessed via a gravel road from Highway 5A.

PARK FACILITIES & ACTIVITIES
Camping - There are 75 user-maintained, rustic campsites on a first-come, first-served basis located on the west and north ends of the lake. Group campsites are available. There are no sani-station/dump facilities, only pit toilets and bring drinking water. The park also offers wilderness walk-in camping.

Fishing and Boating - Roche and the other park lakes are well know for their fly fishing qualities producing excellent rainbow trout. There are boat launches at both of the campsites. Canoeing and kayaking are popular.

Hiking and Trails - There are a number of informal trails for hiking, cycling and horseback riding. Come winter, this area is popular with cross-country skiers and snowmobilers.

COMMERCIAL FACILITIES
For food and other necessary supplies such as gas, propane, camping gear and fishing license Kamloops, Merritt and Logan Lake are near by.
