Location:
Travel about 245 km. (152 mi.) west of Williams Lake into British Columbia's Chilcotin Region via The Chilcotin Highway Hwy 20. Clearwater Lake is on the south side of Hwy 20 with easy access right to the lake.

3 resorts with all facilties can be found at Clearwater Lake; boat launching, accommodations, camping areas & boat rentals.

Also, a small BCFS campsite situated amongst mature spruce and meadows. Car top boats can be launched.

Fishing Report: Clearwater Lake is a steady producer of wild stock rainbows in the 2 lb. range. Much larger 'bows are taken regularly at this lake. Because of its large shoal area, Clearwater Lake is considered very good for fly fishing.

Viewscape: Clearwater Lake is located in the Chilcotin region of BC, and situated in hilly terrain with a mixed pine and spruce forest.

Shoreline: Consists of gravel and grass with alder, pine, spruce, poplar and willow surrounding the immediate shoreline. The east and south shores are shallow with rushes.

Nearby Lakes

One Eye LakeBig Stick Lake -Big Stick Lake is found immediately to the west of Clearwater. It has a small BCFS campsite offering excellent angling and a good beach.

One Eye Lake - One Eye Lake, located on Hwy 20, 18 km (11 mi.) west of the community of Tatla Lake, and just before Clearwater, contains wild stock rainbows to 3 lbs. and Bull Trout that reach up to 10 lbs. One Eye has a seven vehicle BCFS campsite with car top boat launching
